Dr. Annjolyn Pecoraro-Knoll
Dr. Annjolyn Pecoraro-Knoll is the owner of Knoll Animal Hospital. She took over the practice March 2015. She grew up in Lombard where much of her family still resides. She has been a part of the veterinary profession since the age of fifteen. Dr. Knoll earned her BS degree from Elmhurst College and her DVM from St. George’s University, Grenada. She completed her clinical rotations at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an active ISVMA and AVMA member. Her special interests include dentistry, cardiology, dermatology, and exotic animal care.
Dr. Knoll shares her home with her husband, Ryan and their four furry kids: 2 very social, loving cats named Sheldon (male orange), Bernadette (female black), and two very active young dogs Howard (shih tzu mix) and Ember (beagle mix)
Dr. Knoll enjoys being a part of the community. In her free time she likes to travel and spend time with her nieces and nephew. She loves all of her client s and would be excited to meet more people and help with their pets needs.
Ryan is the Hospital Administrator for Knoll Animal Hospital. He is Doctor Knoll's husband and is excited to share the experience in owning and operating the hospital together. Ryan is a huge sports fan and on his free time is generally found in front of a large television screen. Ryan grew up in Lombard. Currently his best friends are two small dogs named Howard and Ember. :)
Denise has been part of the Knoll Animal Hospital team since September of 2012. She lives with her adoring boyfriend, Dominic in Carol Stream. She has two Yorkie-Poos, Lexi and Rocco. She also enjoys frequent visits from her daughter Gianna, son Anthony, and grandson baby Anthony. Denise likes to garden, travel, decorate, and keep up with her favorite teams: the Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks.

Paulina started at Knoll Animal Hospital in June 2015. She graduated from Fox College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2012. She currently resides in Northlake with her boyfriend Bill, his daughter Haley, their three dogs Pogo (pitbull mix), Daisy (border collie mix), Meatball (pitbull mix) and two cats Micah and Ophelia. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time at home: cooking, gardening, decorating, swimming, and bike rides around her neighborhood.

Gayle started at Knoll Animal Hospital in March 2017. She has worked in veterinary practices for over 15 years. She has two dogs: Fred and Tessa. Tessa is a Certified Therapy Dog, so she visits special education classes at nearby schools. She also had two cats: Oscar and Baxter. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Megan joined the Knoll Animal Hospital team in November 2016. She has always had a passion for animals and is very excited to put it into practice working as a veterinary assistant. She has two dogs, Gracie (Shepherd/Boxer mix) and Zoey (Foxhound/Beagle mix) and a 16-year-old turtle named Tommy. In her free time, Megan loves crafting, tending to her succulents, painting, and running her own Etsy store online. She even sells bows for dog collars in the hospital!
Ashley started working at Knoll Animal Hospital in February 2017 after a few years working in emergency medicine. She currently lives in Glendale Heights with her boyfriend and their two dogs; a Boxer Mix named Roxanne, and a Bichon Mix named Obi-Wan. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, writing, and horseback riding.
Sarah started interning at Knoll Animal Hospital in June 2015 for her acceptance into Joliet Junior College's Veterinary Technician program and became a regular employee shortly after. Sarah lives in Carol Stream with her husband (Mike) and son (Jimmy). She enjoys riding bikes, reading, gardening, and playing with her young Pekingese (Trouble) in her free time and can't wait until she graduates in June 2018 so she can do more of what she enjoys.
Shelby joined the Knoll Animal Hospital team in May 2016 with a couple of years of veterinary reception experience under her belt already. Shelby is currently in school to become a Forensic Scientist, but still finds time to do some of the things she loves: working out, riding her motorcycle, reading, and spending time with her fiance (Jason) and their dog (Higgins).
