Hi, my name is Rachel Reinecke, and I am a member of the Boarding Care team at Knoll Animal Hospital. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy all things animals, crafting, cozy gaming, and cooking. I also have an 11-year-old Bichon named Luna who still has her puppy spunk and is wonderfully sweet to everyone she meets.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favorite part of the job is being around like-minded people and taking care of animals and their needs.
Why I Chose This Profession
I have always had an extreme passion for all animals, and I have taken my own pets to Knoll Animal Hospital for over a decade. That long connection made it a natural place for me to build my career.
Education
I earned my cosmetology degree and makeup license from Paul Mitchell The School Lombard, completing my studies from 2020 to 2022.
Professional Background
I am a Fear Free professional, and I bring patience and understanding to every animal in my care. Being able to read their body language allows me to give them a safe space and provide the best care possible.
Work History
After graduating from high school in 2019, I went on to cosmetology school and worked in a small-business salon, providing one-on-one hair services to clients. Alongside that, I have been in the dog and cat sitting business for years, mostly through self-employed jobs that included administering medications and staying overnight with pets.
